Mary Zale began her career with Welcome House in 2008 as a DSP and in 2009 started on a leadership path acting as first a Team Leader and then as a Residential Supervisor which is the position she held until becoming Training Coordinator in 2022.
During her time at Welcome House, Mary completed the DSPaths program earning her Certificate of Initial Proficiency in 2009 and her Certificate of Advanced Proficiency in 2011. In 2012, Mary was named OPRA’s Frontline Supervisor of the Year.
Mary is a dedicated advocate for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and worked diligently to earn her B.S. in Human Services from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in 2000.
